- Compact theoretical course covering all aspects of garden design from start to finish, including survey, design process, drawing outline proposals and planting.
- 'Planting For All Year Colour' -
Wednesday 27th March(SOLD OUT) & Wednesday 20th March- An enlightening 1 day course where you will learn how to plant your garden so that it looks good and is full of colour for the whole year. Comprehensive plant lists for every situation also provided.
- 'Everything You Need to Know About Acers' - Wednesday 29th May
- A two hour workshop dedicated to practical advice on growing Acers in all kinds of conditions.
- 'Propagation Workshop' - Wednesday 18th September
- This workshop is based out in the gardens and growing area and will include demonstrations of various propagation techniques and lots of practical information and advice.
- 'Planting For Autumn Colour' - Wednesday 16th October
- While most gardens have started looking tired by September, this course will show you how to have your garden coming to life again for the Autumn with fiery Autumn foliage and beautiful flowers and berries through to Christmas and beyond
Courses start 10.45am with a hot drink and finish at 4pm. Lunch is a one hour break during which students are welcome to explore Green Island Gardens.
