Bluebells Bazaar & NGS Open Day

Saturday 4th / Sunday 5th May 2019

A chance to visit the gardens and enjoy the sights & smells of spring with the woodlands carpeted in Bluebells and the vibrant Azaleas. An open air bazaar will be held in the main gardens with stalls showcasing local art, crafts and produce. For updates on the Bluebells Bazaar and NGS Open Day please like and share our event on the Green Island Gardens Facebook page.

Home cooked snacks and refreshments will be available in the tearoom.

Easter Weekend

Green Island Gardens will be open on the Easter Weekend. Bring the family out to the gardens, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Easter egg hunt for our younger visitors.
 

 

Autumn Colour Weekend

Saturday October 12th & Sunday October 13th, 2019

Our annual Autumn colour weekend & NGS open day.

See the gardens in their fiery autumn glory with Acers, Nyssas,
Parrotias, Liquidambars, Hamamelis Fothergilla, and many more, including autumn flowering Camellias.

Green Island Gardens currently does not hold a license for traditional wedding ceremonies, however we are able to cater to alternative ceremonies and wedding receptions.

Green Island Gardens will be open every Saturday from February 1st to November 30th, 10am - 5pm.

 

Cream Tea Sundays

From March 31st to September 30th cream teas will be available on the last Sunday each month
Pre-order required outside of these dates.
